Colored belts must have rank tape before Pre-Test week. <Pre-Test is held during class 1 week before Promotion test>
There are 2 blue tape stripes unless a Review Test (to get orange or blue belt).
Yellow belts and up include black tape (this is not necessary for yellow stripe testing).
Brown tape stripes are for Character Development work books (excluding ages 18+).
Promotion Tests:
Students must sign up intent to participate for belts to be onhand during next test. You may still test in absence of signup notice, but stock is not guaranteed at time of test.
Once acquiring White Belt Yellow Stripe ranking, passing Certificate will include individual CTA ID Card and a CTA Patch for the uniform.
Keep all belt promotion Certificates for student 'scrapbook'. Scrapbooks are shared periodically with Review Tests, contributing to overall scoring.
CTA ID Cards need student picture, student signature and Grandmaster Dwenger / Master Beckman signature.
Once signatures are finalized, the cover sheet needs to be laminated or protected with packing tape to preserve identification.
Bring this card to every test. Having your card contributes to test scoring, and must be signed off during each promotion.
CTA Patches must be sewn onto uniforms immediately. Wearing uniforms without patches impacts test scores. Reference 'Uniform Requirements' for further detail.
